Organizations and teams
Members, invitations and roles in an organization workspace.
Organization workspacesPermalink to Organization workspaces
An organization workspace is shared. Its repositories, scans, findings, API keys and usage belong to the organization rather than to any one person, and members see them according to their role.
RolesPermalink to Roles
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control of the organization. Owner roles are not editable from the team screen. |
| Admin | Manage members: promote or demote between admin and member, and remove members. |
| Member | See the roster and the organization workspace, and leave the organization. |
InvitationsPermalink to Invitations
Owners and admins invite people by email address and choose the role the invitation grants. Pending invitations are listed until they are accepted or they expire.
Where this happens in the console
An invitation carries no access on its own
Leaving and removalPermalink to Leaving and removal
Any member can leave an organization. Owners and admins can remove members. In both cases the person immediately loses access to the organization workspace; work that belongs to the organization stays with the organization.
If your access changes while you are working, the console tells you that you are no longer a member and asks you to switch to a workspace you belong to.
