Getting started

Sign in, pick a workspace, and run your first security scan.

Relane Security is available by invitation. Accounts are created during onboarding, so there is no public registration form — if you try to register you will be told registration is closed.

Sign in from the Sign in link on the site. If your session expires while you are working, you are returned to the sign-in page and can continue where you left off.

Personal and organization workspacesPermalink to Personal and organization workspaces

Everything in the console belongs to a workspace. Your personal workspace is yours alone. An organization workspace is shared with its members, and repositories, scans, findings, API keys and usage all belong to whichever workspace you are currently in.

The workspace switcher is in the console header. Switching workspaces changes what you see everywhere, so if a repository or scan seems to be missing, check the switcher first.

Workspace boundaries are enforced by the server

You only ever see the repositories, scans and findings of the workspace you are in. Switching does not merge data from another workspace into the view.

  1. Install the GitHub App

    Grant Relane Security access to the repositories you want it to read. Nothing can be scanned until this is done.

  2. Pick a repository

    Only repositories in the Active state can be scanned. Others show why they cannot.

  3. Start the scan

    The scan is queued and then runs through its phases. You can leave the page — the scan keeps running.

  4. Read the result

    When the scan finishes, open it to see the result state, coverage, and any findings.
